Mission Statement
We believe that members have a share in the success of the workplace and that THEY should be rewarded for increases in productivity. We all should receive fair pay for the work required of us and pay for rising costs of living. We also strive to secure better working conditions for the members. Insuring work environments are secure. Fight for adequate insurance coverage and safety equipment for members. Improving work conditions and seek job security for all members. Increase the union impact in the society and a wider economy, provide various services beyond members’ job security and safety. Educating and training to apprise members of their employee rights and to improve member skills. Provide the best representation for members by educating ourselves and utilizing the resources and tools provided. To insure management upholds terms and conditions of employment, and the collective bargaining agreement negotiated at units and local thru-out CSEA Region 1. Communicating with CSEA locals and units to insure all information is distributed to the rank and file members. We are beholden to the members of CSEA, not management or politicians . Stand-by the members and be devoted to the cause to “BUILDING A STRONGER UNION”.
